Project Impact

is an Action Adventure game(Currently a Prototype) that blends the elements of a direction based combat system and an injury system that aims to add a new layer to a familiar action based experience.

PROACTIVE AI

Difficulty and Challenge lies on the behavior patterns of the AI and not based on boosting damage stats. Each character will have traits, strengths and weaknesses everyone can exploit and take advantage of.

LOCATIONAL DAMAGE SYSTEM

Control and Strategy is heavily rewarded as the health is based on an injury system where attacking intensely injured areas deplete more health than non injured parts. 

Regular Strikes which are the bread and butter of the combat has 4 directions which the player can dynamically swap while landing combos. 

To Successfully land a hit, attack to wherever the opponent isn't guarded and to block a hit, shift direction to wherever the incoming attack is headed towards.

This gives players more control and variety to attack patterns as well as encourage a more tactical approach to combat.

1.Download the Project which is a 7zip file

2. open the 7zip file and extract it to any folder you want

3. Go to the game's directory and run "ProjectImpact.exe"
